Press and media

We very much look forward to welcoming journalists and photographers to the 2017 Devon County Show!

The media is invited to use the facilities of our Press Centre for the duration of the Show. Our friendly team can help set up interviews, advise about the day's events and issue wrist-bands for the cattle lines.

The Press Centre provides space to work, power sockets, fast (and free) wifi, and loos. Also, hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day along with breakfast butties and a sandwich lunch.

Press Preview Day will take place on May 17:
The day begins with tea or coffee at 10.15 am at the Press Centre followed by a Press Briefing when the Show Secretary will be available to answer questions. Then there will be a tour of the Showground with a specially convened series of photo opportunities followed by lunch.

On this day only, NO Show passes are required, although you may be asked to show your press accreditation. Park in Green Car Park and walk in. Numbers at lunch are limited and must be pre-booked using the form below.

Car parking on May 18, 19 & 20:
Car parking is free of charge at the Show and so no special pass is required for your vehicle, nor is forward parking available. However, if you have a particular reason to need special access eg you have heavy photographic equipment or you have a disability, a limited number of special passes are available. Please apply as soon as possible direct to the Show Secretary Ollie Allen

Press passes will be posted after Easter.
